Decisions, Decisions, evaluating the Nokia N79 vs Nokia E71
Well, well, decisions, decisions, its about that that time when curiosity strikes upon me once again( and I just got this phone, damm), cruising the Nokia site I came upon the striking image of mobile phone beauty personified through an N-Series device, the Nokia N79. If you’ve seen the Nokia E71 you know you have something special in your hands but as we all know there are
compromises to be made regarding multimedia. If you’re a Gtd proselyte then you know a qwerty is a key function. But I’ve been asking myself this question: “how much text do I really input through my mobile phone ?” And that IS the question my friends, thinking it further through 75% of my mobile phone usage is for viewing the internet, viewing my task lists, and my general usage of applications but text entry is only 25%, so now the question becomes “does this 25% overshadow the the other 75%” hmm, deep questions for a mobile enthusiast like myself.
Now on to the N79, simply stated wow, the wow factor is way cool or in more colloquial terms, “its live” I particularly like the 5 megapixel double led flash camera which takes some great pics. In my humble opinion the N Series mobile phones of past have been plague with their bulky appearance but the N79 departs from that tradition and truly makes a strong aesthetic statement and it simply says, that Nokia can make a great multimedia mobile phone in a dramatically slimmer version loaded with all the traditional goodies ie. gps, camera, video, wifi, and 3.5 hspda, hmm, hmm so again food for thought. To be honest with you all, I am torn but I think I’m going to ponder this thought for a few more days before making a switch. Stay tuned.

Nokia Messaging just graduated from beta check it out here: link
I’m so glad this happened, Nokia Messaging is similar to the Blackberry Internet service but it looks a lot cooler. Make sure to upgrade if you’re still using the beta. Hold on to your seat Rim-Blackberry because the once sleepy giant just woke up and his hungry, lol
