Snaptu – an amazing application which houses Facebook, Twitter, Picassa Web, etc.

Snaptu is truly an amazing application, its a java based app unlike any other, you really have to download this to your phone to experience the tightest integration across various platforms. Recently I’ve been getting into twitter and I’ve been using Twibble but I have been pleasantly by Snaptu, Twitter’s interface is just like the Twitter on the web it really does look amazing. Snaptu has been able to capture pieces of the www and bring it to your mobile in a nice and clean interface which is very conducive to viewing your content anywhere you are, it really is no a no brainer. Currently I’m using my Nokia N82 and it looks great but tomorrow my N85 arrives via Ups and I can’t wait to see this application on the OLED screen, I’m expecting a “wow” experience. Applications which Snaptu currently has are the following:
- Facebook – very very very very nice integration
- Twitter – very very very nice integration as well
- Picassa – awesome, can’t say enough about this
- News – RSS reader, very nice, nicely done, on a side note I’ve been trolling the web for a nice RSS reader and have not really been to happy with what’s out there (C’mon Nokia give us something cool)
- UK Movies, I certainly hope in the near future they release a U.S. version
- Google Calendar – nicely done and provides 100% sync compatability so if you use Google Calendar
- And a few others like Pubs, Concert tickets etc. check it out for yourself you won’t be disappointed
